 Today lead impeachment manager Jamie Raskin made public a letter he had written to former President Donald J. Trump, in which he "requested" that Trump come testify in person under oath to the Senate during the upcoming impeachment trial.  Raskin wants to ask Trump under oath about the "numerous lies" he told during his Jan. 6 speech at the Ellipse, where Trump spoke at length and in great detail about the federal election fraud that stole the election from him and handed it to Joe Biden.  This was the dumbest thing Democrats could have done. Everybody already knew this 2nd impeachment trial was a farce, and most people weren't going to be paying much, if any, attention to it, beyond people like me, who make their living following the political scene.  The **Democrats** opened to door to making next week's Senate trial riveting TV at the mere **hint** Trump might show up to testify.  The Senate trial goes from a boring sham event to something that will like...

  Both the Durham Special Counsel's Office and the FBI's investigation of Hunter Biden & his business associates [which includes his father, however much he may deny it] are still ongoing. While Trump never made a single move to end or interfere with Mueller, I have no doubt whatsoever Biden is not that smart. Despite many political pundits yelling for Trump to fire Mueller for almost two full years, Trump was smart enough to know what would happen if he fired Mueller or got caught interfering in a federal investigation. Biden will quickly make moves to interfere with both Durham and the FBI, and when he does, he'll bungle it and his fingerprints will be all over it. Biden's team is so incompetent, I fully expect this to happen.

  Just a quick heads up folks!  I wrote and submitted a new column to The Epoch Times today.  It's entitled:  "An Unconstitutional Farce of a Senate Show Trial".  The title kind of succinctly sums up my opinion of this coming Senate trial.  The whole thing is going to be a flaming train wreck on stilts.  Nobody really believes Trump incited an insurrection on Jan. 6. This is all bullshit political theater, and most of the Senate GOP members are going to treat it as such.  Hopefully this new column will go up by Friday. I'll post the link here when it does!  I'd like to also take a moment and talk about the great staff at Epoch.  I've been writing for them for over two years now, and in that time Jasper Fakkert, Kat Piper and Adam Ainsworth and the rest of the editors there have been fantastic to me and I look forward to writing for the site for many years to come.  Brian  

  Welcome to my new Blog!  I was up to almost 275,000 followers when Twitter banned my main account.  No problem!  I moved to Parler...for about a week, when it was de-platformed. A lot of my followers on Twitter want to know where to find me.  I've tried out several other social media sites and have concluded that...it's time to go back to having a personal blog.
